Remi Burgz is a stand out voice and individual in British entertainment. The MOBO Award nominee is Radio Broadcaster, International host and Presenter is primarily known for her energetic and authentic approach on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Remi began her career in 2016 via community radio before landing a slot on popular youth station ‘Reprezent Radio’ in 2017.  Remi joined 1Xtra in 2021 and quickly became trusted in her abilities, with two promotions within two years, landing her a flagship Drivetime show on the network. 

Her recent rise to prominence as BBC 1Xtra’s Drivetime Host alongside her work in A&R driving careers for some of 0207 Def Jam Records most exciting new artists, keeping Remi firmly at the forefront of UK culture.

With arguably the biggest energy in British broadcasting Remi has brought her charisma and warmth from behind the desk to our TV screens. Over the last year she co-hosted new music entertainment show ‘Tonight with Target’, interviewing acts such as Ghetts and Jorja Smith. With frequent guest appearances on primetime TV shows such as Big Brothers Late & Live, The Rap Game, Celebrity Mastermind and most recently Celebrity Masterchef.

On the Live stage Remi has co-hosted MOBO Awards (2022) in Wembley OVO Arena , Stormzy’s ‘Heavy Is The Head’ UK Tour, Wireless Festival (2024), and co-hosted the trailblazing GUAP Gala, alongside formidable co-host Munya Chawawa. Her Cameo in Netflix drama Champion (2023), created by ‘Queenie’ author Candice Carty Williams proves Remi is set to take all areas of entertainment and broadcasting by storm.
